SUGGESTIONS

The painting titled, ‘The Last Judgement’, was situated on the furthermost wall adjacent to the portal overlooking the interior of the Basilica (see picture at right above, as well as detail of painting at right).  In that location, it offered the best viewing vantage

NOTE:  This painting portends to the Death of Man(kind) following mankind's destructive pattern towards the environment.  It was painted 25 years before the issue of Global warming was sounded as a humanitarian and existential crisis.

The box on which the decorative mount rests, can be notched at the left so that it can be situated and aligned beneath the painting titled ‘Vows’ (lst painting appearing at left in photograph).

NOTE:  As the paintings are on stretched canvases, it is important that the wood frame is not suspended solely off of the upper rings but does have something to rest on at the bottom.  It appears that the decorative panels seen under each painting is intended to serve this purpose.  If the painting is suspended solely from the upper rings, it will continue to stretch the canvas and result in irreparable damage to the fabric and subsequently, result in the cracking and peeling of the paint.

Previously, each painting had an L-shaped metal rod which was imbedded in the wall and on which the lower part of the frame rested on.

CORRECTION

2 of the 6 panels constituting the painting ‘Genesis’ mounted beneath the arch have been incorrectly mounted.  Note how the form of the lower panel does not correspond with the upper form.

The one on the upper left needs to be switched with the one on the upper right.
